"You Play Like A Girl"

When I was a kid, if a boy was told that you play like a girl or throw like a girl it wasn't really a compliment. With the recent success of a few girls teams in the New Ulm area it might not be all bad. The NUHS girls varsity had another good year and made it to state. Over the weekend one of the youth teams hosted and then won a state title in their age group. If they can stay together over the next few years all they'll do is get better. Congratulations!! The girls basketball teams at all three high schools in New Ulm and the two in Sleepy Eye had their ups and downs but put some athletes on the floor any given night. I was there when NUHS lost 52 games in a row in girls basketball and trust me it isn't all that much fun. Spring is here and if my sources are correct it'll be good seasons for the girls softball programs this year too. See you at a park near you.
Century 21 had their regional awards banquet recently at the Minneapolis Marriot NW and once again we did well. Joyce Krenz, Amanda Jensen, Brenda Nosbush, Tim Woods,Jim Heil, Lisa Larson and the office itself were all winners of various awards based on productivity and production. Come see why we're the best in the business.
Upcoming events: The last weekend in March, come see us at the Home Show at the New Ulm Civic Center. The New Ulm Rotary Club is hosting a Trivia Night on April 10. Put a team together and prove how smart you are.
Thinking about buying or selling but don't know where to start?? No need to look any further than Century 21 Koeckeritz Realty. We can show you any home listed for sale and help you get your home ready to sell. Just call; 507-359-9212 or e-mail us at info@krhomes.com
It's NCAA basketball tournament time; work productivity goes down when the games are on starting Thursday. How much do you watch and do you have your brackets filled out??
Many people are tempted to start doing yardwork but according to the experts it's a little to early. Hold off for a couple of weeks. We can still get snow for a bit yet.

March Madness

The term March Madness is usually associated with the NCAA Basketball Tournaments along with all the high school tournaments. The New Ulm Girls Hockey team and the Boys Hockey team made it to state as did some wrestlers. Looks like some area basketball teams have a shot too.

In the real estate business we have our own "madness"; the Spring market. Things have popped as of late as new listings have come onto the market and buyers, like buds on a tree have popped up too.

You like fish?? Head to the best Fish Fry around --Courtland is the place this Saturday. All you can eat with German and American potato salad and cole slaw. Made with Schell's beer batter.

Later this month is the Home Show --come see us at our booth and let's talk!!

The High School Spring sports season is just getting geared up; good luck to all the athletes, coaches and parents.

It's only a matter of time now.

It's only a matter of time before Spring will explode all around us!! The snow will  melt, the grass will turn green and you'll be planting your gardens and flower beds. Are you ready for the season to change?
In the world of Real Estate, Spring is our busiest time of year although people buy and sell year round. Are you thinking of buying or selling this year? Don't know where to start? If you're a buyer and don't have a home to sell, pay a visit to your favorite local lender and find out what you can afford. If you have a home to sell contact us for a free Market Value Analysis to determine the value of your current and then talk to your favorite local lender about selling your home and buying something different. How much home can you buy after you sell your current one? If you're a seller, same thing, contact us about a free Market Value Analysis.
Another service we offer  if you're a seller is a free one hour consultation with a local Home Stager. She'll give you tips and hints and advice so your home looks it's finest.

As we get into March, life gets a little busier with all the events happening in our area. Local high school sports teams are in playoff and state tournament action. The Lenten Season is upon us and with that comes all the fish fry's. The NCAA March Madness starts soon. On March 14, Habitat For Humanity has a fundraiser at the New Ulm Event Center with Texas Hold'em, Bingo and a meal. Money raised will go towards the construction of another home. The day before we have the Century 21 Awards Banquet where once again we are "Award Winning" as an office and individual agents.

Did you know that your average #2 pencil has enough lead in it to draw a line approximately 35 miles?

The weekends in March bring the Farm Show, Camper Show and Home Show at the New Ulm Civic Center. Be sure to stop out to see us at the Home Show the last weekend of March.

How do you think the Minnesota Twins will do this year? Some familiar faces are back from last year and years past; Tori Hunter and Paul Molitor. They do play in a real nice ball park.

Our newest agent is Kelsey Sabatino. She has been with us since November is ready to help you buy or sell.

Lisa Larson has launched a promotion that could ease your Holiday Shopping burden. Use her services and you'll be entered into a drawing that could pay you $500. Drawing to be held the day before Thanksgiving; just in time for Black Friday.
